Fairview Tree Farm specializes in tree planting. We have been planting trees for generations, and we can supply any type of conifer, shade, or ornamental tree. We have privacy trees in stock most of the time, and any tree can be ordered.

Mulch

Mulch is a beautiful enhancement to your finished landscape. At Fairview Tree Farm, we offer expert mulch installation and can finish with a professional edge cut.

We always stock high quality triple ground native bark mulch that is color enhanced to a wonderful deep brown Cocoa color. We also have natural bark mulch if you prefer. We carry playground mulch that can safely add protection under your swing set or playscape.

We stock our own wood chips both new or composted. These can offer great savings when mulching a large area.

 

New Landscape

The proper initial depth for mulch installation is 3 inches thick.
1 cubic yard of mulch covers approximately 100 sq. ft of area at 3 inches thick.

Existing Landscape

For re-mulching an existing bed, 2 inches may suffice. 1 cubic yard should cover about 130 Sq. Ft
We sell mulch by the cubic yard and can carry up to 12 yards to your site per truckload. Larger loads are available. Delivery rates beyond local will have an increase in rate. We offer delivery or pick up at the farm with appointment.

Minimum Quantities: All Mulch picked up at our farm has a $50 minimum purchase. You must call ahead for an appointment to load products.

Top Soil & Stone

Our screened topsoil is the finest topsoil in the area! We use a 3/4 screen deck, so only very small stones sneak through. We never add any fillers, wood chips, or clay. It is exactly the same trusted product that we have been selling for years.

Supply is limited, and we do sell out every year. Three cubic yards delivered to the Shelton area is $160 plus tax and delivery is included. (Call for larger loads.) Don’t miss out, call today!

Crushed Stone

Crushed stone from 3/8 inch (pea gravel) to 2 inch can be delivered to your home. We also specialize in decorative stone to help create your custom garden.
